The opening doubleheader today is free admission - Christmas Eve at the Basin Reserve. It's a repeat of last season’s doubleheader Grand Final. The first of seven great weeks of competition before the playoffs and Grand Finals!
Match 1 • 10am | Wellington Blaze v Auckland Hearts (LIVE on Spark Sport and TVNZ 1)
Match 2 • 1pm | Wellington Firebirds v Auckland Aces (LIVE on Spark Sport and TVNZ 1)
Both Wellington teams are defending champions in their respective competitions - and Wellington Blaze are looking for a phenomenal fourth T20 title in a row this season. Let's hope the weather behaves because as they say .... you can't beat Wellington on a good day.
But maybe the Auckland Aces and Auckland Hearts disagree with that statement!
