Knights – Seddon Park and Bay Oval – Buy Tickets

The pink clad Knights are charged with defending two different Kingdoms in the north. Both possess flourishing grass banks and can be tricky for visiting teams to negotiate. Seddon Park will host a number of night games while Bay Oval hosts all day games during the peak festive season. Fans across the north have a wide ran of matches to attend!

Central Stags – McLean Park, Pukekura Park, Yarrow Stadium and Saxton Oval – Buy Tickets

If the competition was simply about having picturesque grounds great for a day out Central Districts could nearly claim the lead before a ball is bowled. From the east to the west of the North Island and to the tip of the South Island the Stags call some top spots home. If you enjoy stunning a backdrop, then Saxton Oval is your place. While if raining sixes is more your style then Pukekura Park is your spot. McLean Park is another venue that provides something for every kind of cricket viewer. Under the mountain at Yarrow Stadium it’s lights, camera, action!

Wellington Firebirds – Basin Reserve – Buy Tickets

A short walk from the centre of Wellington is one of the city’s gems, the Basin Reserve. A large roundabout to a few, hallowed turf to many others. If you are looking for a spot to enjoy your first cricket game or your 1000th the Basin is a special place to do it. A wily Firebirds team will be looking to put on some stirring performances this year in an effort to return to the championship winning form they had just two seasons ago.

Hagley Oval is fast becoming one of the country’s favourite cricket grounds. With its picture perfect pavilion and rolling banks it is a venue which is a quickly developing an exciting history. The conditions at Hagley Oval promote fast skilful cricket and the Kings are eager to promote exactly the style.

Otago Volts – University Oval and Molyneux Park – Buy Tickets

While Central Districts might lay claim to the most picturesque ground title the team from the deep south would also have a lot say in the argument. From the newly renovated University Oval to the warmth of Central Otago, the Volts have got a good thing going on. If you like your cricket best served in holiday mode, there may be no better spot than Molyneux Park in Alexandra. While if you are more looking to jet down after school or squeeze in after work then University Oval is the place.
